SATURDAY IN THE PARK FEATURES LUCKY 7 Lucky 7 will be on stage on Saturday, July 24 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. as the third installment of the Allentown Department of Parks & Recreation’s 2021 Saturday in the Park concert series at West Park. Formed in the 1990’s, Lucky 7 is one of the area's premier funk/dance bands. The group has opened for many national acts as well as being a fan favorite at many casino, festival, and private events! Lucky 7 is an 11-piece band featuring the casino horns and performing all your favorite dance and funk music from the 60's through modern favorites! Band members include Doug Bitting on keyboards, Robert Youngblood on bass/vocals, Ron Galasso on percussion and Ed McCartan on guitar. The Casino Horns consist of Bob Sedlock Jr., Bob Moser and Jeff Roll. Lady T is lead vocalist. The City of Allentown’s four concert Saturday in the Park series also features The Large Flowerheads coming up on August 14. West Park is located between 15th - 16th Street between Linden and Turner streets.
