The park will still be accessible by foot.

Multiple pedestrian route switches will also be made during the final stages of the project.

All sidewalk and access roads are anticipated to be fully open by the project completion date of Friday, August 27.

The bridge on West Gordon Street and over Jordan Creek in the City of Allentown was closed for reconstruction on Monday, November 30.

The more than $3.3 million project was scheduled to begin in March 2020 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic which at the time had halted all construction projects.

Kinsley Construction, Inc. from York, PA is the successful low bidder on the project.

Detours have been in place during the construction.
