The City of Allentown is proud to be partnering with the World Waterpark Association to bring the Worlds Largest Swim Lesson™ to Allentown.

The World's Largest Swimming Lesson™ is a promotional event designed to build awareness and generate local and national press attention about the vital importance of teaching kids to swim to help prevent drowning. 

Drowning is preventable, but sadly, it’s the LEADING cause of unintended death for kids 1-4, the second leading cause for kids 5-14 and 3rd leading cause of unintentional injury-related death worldwide. The World Health Organization estimates 236,000 people died from drowning in 2019, making drowning a major public health problem worldwide

The World's Largest Swimming Lesson™ encourages participation in swimming lesson programs and helps spread the word that Swimming Lessons Save Lives.™
