Climate Action Plan
As part of its commitment to a healthier, more resilient, and sustainable future, the City of Allentown is developing its first-ever Climate Action Plan. Launched during Earth Month 2025, this plan will be shaped by input from residents, workers, and students through a citywide Sustainability Survey. The Climate Action Plan will guide long-term environmental goals, equity-focused strategies, and local climate action efforts. This work builds on existing initiatives like Love Your Block, the Youth Climate Action Fund, and community cleanups, all aimed at making Allentown a thriving, climate-conscious city for generations to come.
