Registration is now open for the City of Allentown’s King of the Court program
 
King of the Court is a FREE six-week basketball program offered by the City’s Department of Parks and Recreation for boys in grades 5 to 10 that live or attend school in Allentown. 
 
The program is tailored to introduce basketball fundamentals to beginners, as well as to help refine the efforts of more skilled players. Head coaches Marlon Randall and Darnell Braswell along with thier teams use the game to also teach life skills, confidence, teamwork, and empowerment.
 
Sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:00 for grades 5-7 and 7:00pm to 8:00pm for grades 8-10 beginning on April 9th through May 16th. 

The program will be held at Trexler Middle School.

Parents will need to create an account at www.allentownparksandrec.com, receive approval, and then register their child before the start of the program.
