Focus on Wellness:

This fall, we are emphasizing Athlete Wellness and Mental Mindfulness. Alvin Johnson from Bearded Yoga Life will lead Yoga and Mindfulness sessions every Tuesday throughout the program. Alvin began his yoga journey in 2017 and quickly recognized that yoga is about much more than physical poses. He completed his RYT 200 certification during the pandemic in 2021 and later became an Ayurveda Specialist. Specializing in Power Yoga, Alvin focuses on strength, flexibility, and mobility, while also teaching gentle and vinyasa styles. As a board member and mindfulness instructor with the Mindful Child Initiative, he is passionate about bringing mindfulness tools to students and parents.
