The City of Allentown is thrilled to offer its free eight-week summer playground program for children aged 7 to 15. This program includes a variety of fun playground activities and provides free lunch.

Program Details:
  • Activities Schedules:
    • Mondays: 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm
    • Tuesdays through Fridays: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
  •  Lunches: Free lunches will be served from Tuesday through Friday, starting in June.
Romper Day Celebration: On Monday August 4th, participants will be invited to the 111th annual 'Romper Day Celebration,' which features games, relay races, and dances. This tradition, which began in 1914 with General Harry C. Trexler and Mrs. Trexler's "Romper Day," continues to be a highlight of the summer.

Bucky Boyle Park – 10 Pump Place
Ithaca Playlot – SW 30th St & Ithaca Street
Jordan Park – 6th & Sumner Ave.
Keck Park – S. Carlisle & E. Mosser Streets
Percy Ruhe Park – 1519 Oxford Dr
Roosevelt Park – Filmore St. - Between W. Saucon & Camp Streets
Stevens Park – 630 N. 6th Street
Trout Creek West – 8th & Juniata Streets
Union Terrace – Union Street (West of 19th Street)
Valania Park – 6th & Union Streets
Walden Terrace Playlot – S. Carbon & S. Lumber St. (2366 S. Carbon St.)

Registration: On-site registration is available at any participating location, but pre-registration is strongly encouraged for a smoother experience.
