DOGGIE DIPS AT MACK POOL The City of Allentown Parks and Recreation Department will host its 16th Annual Doggie Dips this weekend. Dogs of all breeds and sizes and their owners are invited to participate: Saturday, August 28 from 12 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Mack Pool Sunday, August 29 from 12 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Mack Pool The cost is $4.00 for residents and $8.00 for non-residents. Proof of residency is required to receive the resident rate. All participants are to be aware of the following rules for the event: Dogs must be non-aggressive towards other dogs and humans One handler per dog in the pool at a time Must have valid current 2021 dog license Must be current on all vaccinations (Rabies/Distemper) Monetary donations can be made to Friends of the Allentown Parks. Dry pet food donations on behalf of Lehigh County Humane Society will be accepted and are appreciated. Pre-Registration is recommended online at www.allentownparksandrec.com. Onsite registration is also available.
